The virtual exhibition “…and the Word became Music” invites you to the world of books made many centuries ago to record the musical ideas of the people of that era. A unique concept combining facsimile pictures of manuscripts, transcriptions and recordings was created by the members and students from Department of Musicology, Charles University and the Manuscript Department, National Library. The exhibition will be available until 31 December 2017.
